SPL Fanzone: Kilmarnock

THE draw with Inverness at the weekend pretty much delivered all it promised, which was not a lot

I’m really hoping Kenny Shiels’ masterplan ahead of Sunday’s League Cup final has involved us playing mince right up to the showpiece so that we can then surprise Celtic by bringing our A game to Hampden. That’s possibly a tad optimistic.

It seems some Killie supporters are not really up for the final – a combination of Celtic’s good form, our bad form and the anti-climax after dumping Ayr in the last round – but we should look at the positives. All the pressure is on Celtic as they chase a treble, we’ve given them a fright a few times already this season and we know that, when we click, we can be a match for anyone in this league.

All we need is some faith in ourselves and a bit of luck on the day. And, hey, you never know. Stranger things have happened. . .
