SPL Fanzone: Inverness Caledonian Thistle

Our start to the new season has been fairly encouraging but we still seem to lack that concentration needed to secure wins. We have a new team again as Terry Butcher rang the changes during the close season. We have lost many influential players and replaced some of them with similar or potentially better ones. Unfortunately, we did not acquire a much-needed goalscorer, which is a worry. If Aaron Doran can stay fit then he may be a contender. It also looks like we’ve got rid of the ‘big hoof’ football and seem to have adapted to a more passing style of game. This was certainly evident in the friendly against Coventry and also in the first two SPL games. One thing that needs be seriously addressed is our on-field discipline. We have amassed five yellows and a red already. If we keep that rate up, we’ll have no team to field.
