SPL Fanzone: Dundee Utd

IT WAS a case of deja-vu at Tannadice on Saturday, when United played Motherwell. Just like the previous home match against Aberdeen, United dominated the first half but only had a one-goal lead going into the interval, when it should have been several.

And, just like the second-half in the Aberdeen game, United were dominated by the opposition with the equalising goal seeming inevitable to all in the stadium. The only saving grace was that Motherwell could not grab a winner, like Aberdeen did.

Unfortunately, however, this result all but kills off any hopes United had of trying to finish in one of the Europa Cup spots at the end of the season. Indeed, unless United start winning at home, they may not even finish in the top six.
