SPL Fanzone: Dundee United

UNITED have gone back to basics and a second clean sheet in a row, this time against Motherwell, is a sign that the club is getting back on track.

There is no doubt Robbie Neilson has made an instant impact on our defence. It could be argued that the weather may have had more of an influence on the score than the players as both teams struggled to get the ball under control in stormy conditions and I doubt there will have been many fans who would have argued against summer football. It is over a month until the transfer window but United have already secured Irishman Ritchie Ryan. We have had a lot of luck signing players from the Irish market and if he proves to be half as successful as his compatriots over recent years then we will be onto another winner.
