SPL Fanzone: Dundee United

At half-time on Monday everything seemed right with 2012. One up, good game and great atmosphere helped by a good turn-out from our enemies to the north to their second favourite ground.

However, there was also a nagging feeling the stonewall penalty we weren’t awarded, which should also have seen Considine heading for an early bath, could be costly and so it proved. What should have been a United throw-in was mysteriously awarded to them and they equalised. Fair play to the Aberdeen laddie, his strike for the winner was a belter but thought Pernis could have done better.

All in all a frustrating start to the year, but no need to push the panic button. A trip to Airdrie in the cup should not overly concern us and then a continued push deep into the top six is there for the taking. Onward Arabs!
