Changing room chat: Rob Jones’ nose out of joint – again

FORMER Hibs central defender Rob Jones has undergone surgery after breaking his nose for the 12th time.

The Sheffield Wednesday skipper is already bracing himself for a 13th break and he said: “I’m not concerned about breaking it again because I know I will so there is no point worrying about it. But that’s me done on operations. I’m not having another one. If it breaks again, it breaks again. I will have to deal with it. Centre-halves get bangs on their noses week in week out. It is part and parcel of the way I play. I’m sure it will happen again until the time comes when I retire.”
