Tomorrow evening it’s Israel in opposition for Steve Clarke’s side and the chance of another play-off – for a World Cup qualifier – is in the balance.

There are permutations to topping the Nation’s League group over tomorrow night’s hosts, Slovakia and the Czech Republic – but at the moment it’s Scotland’s to lose.

Aside from news from the camp there’s plenty going on at home with Claire Whyte due to leave her SFA compliance officer role, and clubs gearing up for the return of their international stars and the return of domestic duties in the SPFL at the weekend.
