Stories continue to circulate on and off the pitch with Scottish football still facing a fan lock-out from an exciting Premiership season.

Celtic and Aberdeen fought out a 3-3 draw on Sunday live on television and though Pittodrie chiefs were aggrieved at the coverage the Dons received, fans may have the option of watching the team live in the near future, according to some reports.

Scottish football has been crying out for fans to return, in some capacity, for weeks and hopes are high the new government guidelines will provide some light at the end of the sim-month lock-out tunnel later today.

Celtic also revealed their financial figures yesterday and much of this morning’s coverage weighs up the numbers in the Hoops’ accounts and the balance sheet performance over the last season.

On the field, the fall-out from the weekend’s results continue with Rangers six points clear at the top of the table and unbeaten, new COVID staff at St Mirren and defence of Neil Lennon plus preview coverage of the forthcoming Scottish Cup semi-finals at Hampden and Ibrox manager Steven Gerrard has had his say on his managerial future.

Meanwhile Manchester United are looking at adding to their successful Scottish contingent. They’ve had Brian McClair, Andy Goram, Darren Fletcher in the past, now Scott McTominay and the Reds are said to be assessing a move for another youngster.
