Ryan Edwards signs new contract with Partick Thistle

Ryan Edwards has pledged his future to Partick Thistle after agreeing a new three-year Jags deal, the club have announced.

The Australian midfielder featured in every one of the Firhill side’s Ladbrokes Premiership clashes last season.

Now the 23-year-old has been rewarded for his displays with a two-year extension to his old deal, which was due to expire next summer, keeping him with the club until 2020.

Edwards joined Thistle in September 2015 from English side Reading and has gone on to establish himself as an important part of Alan Archibald’s squad.
