Pawlett in line for Hibs switch

PETER Pawlett could be allowed to join Hibs on loan, according to reports.

The 25-year-old winger, who played for Aberdeen against Fola Esch last week, broke his arm in March, limiting him to just 18 first team appearances for the Dons last season.

Swansea set to beat Hoops to Duffy

CELTIC could miss out on Shane Duffy, with Swansea the favourites to sign the Irish defender.

Duffy, who played for Ireland during the Euro 2016 tournament, was linked with a move to Glasgow last month but Swansea have been named as frontrunners in the race to snap up the former Everton stopper.

Crystal Palace have also been loosely linked with the 24-year-old. (Various)

Isaiah Brown hints at Rangers move

CHELSEA youngster Isaiah Brown has been linked with a move to Rangers after activity on his Twitter account.

The 19-year-old forward has ‘liked’ tweets from Rangers fans, giving rise to speculation that he could be heading north.

Brown, who spent time with Leicester and West Brown before joining Chelsea in 2013, spent last season on loan at Vitesse Arnhem in the Netherlands. (Various)

QPR have been linked with a move for Motherwell winger Marvin Johnson.

The 25-year-old wideman, who joined the Steelmen from Kidderminster Harriers, is under contract at Fir Park until the summer of 2018.

CELTIC have been dealt a blow after back-up ‘keeper Logan Bailly suffered a suspected broken ankle, ruling him out of Tuesday’s Champions League clash against Lincoln Red Imps.

Johansen out for 3 weeks as Galatasaray talks go on

STEFAN Johansen has been ruled out for three weeks, amid reports a fee has been agreed with Turkish giants Galatasaray for the Norwegian midfielder.

The 25-year-old limped off during Celtic’s goalless draw against Maribor in Slovenia and has been ruled out for the best part of a month.

But reports in Turkey suggest Celtic and Galatasaray have agreed a deal that could see Johansen move to Istanbul for just over £2 million. (Various)

A RANGERS move for Wolves midfielder Kevin McDonald reportedly collapsed after the Ibrox side chose to sign Joey Barton instead.

Efe keen to fight for place

EFE Ambrose has been linked with moves to Fenerbahce and Bayer Leverkusen - but the Nigerian defender wants to stay at Celtic.

Ambrose had looked set to leave Celtic after the arrival of Brendan Rodgers, with the new boss actively seeking defensive reinforcements, but injuries to Dedryck Boyata and Jozo Simunovic could hand Ambrose a chance to impress.

ESPANYOL have dropped their interest in Nir Bitton, after being warded off by Celtic’s asking price.

Celtic slapped a £10 million price tag on the Israeli midfielder, following reports that the Spanish outfit were preparing a £6 million bid for the former Ashdod man.

It is believed that the wages offered were also below Bitton’s expectations, and the 24-year-old looks set to remain at Celtic for the time being. (Various)
