Hibs eye McDonald

HIBERNIAN have been linked with a move for Scott McDonald as Neil Lennon looks to bolster his attacking options.

McDonald, who is currently at Motherwell, played alongside Lennon at Celtic, and scored 64 goals in 128 appearances for the Hoops.

Sinclair ‘will cost £6m’

SCOTT Sinclair could cost Celtic up to £6 million, with Aston Villa boss Roberto Di Matteo reluctant to lose a key player.

Bury want Nicky Clark

BURY are leadng the chase for freed Rangers striker Nicky Clark, according to reports.

The 25-year-old striker, who found first team appearances hard to come by last season, turning out just 15 times in all competitions, had been linked with Barnsley but looks set to join the Shakers, where he could team up with former Rangers youth team mate Jack Ruddy. (Daily Mail)

Rodgers wants Tierney tied down

BRENDAN Rodgers is keen to offer Kieran Tierney a new five-year deal in a bid to keep the highly-rated youngster at Celtic.

Tierney has been linked with a host of clubs including Arsenal and Liverpool, but Celtic are keen to retain the 19-year-old’s services.

And Rodgers could make one it of his first acts as Celtic boss to tie the defender down on a long-term deal. (Daily Express)
