Celtic want to sign Rangers star

Celtic are set to make an audacious bid to sign Bouremouth’s Emerson Hyndman - who is currently on loan at rivals Rangers. The American midfielder has impressed at Ibrox since making the move north in January and it is understood Celtic have inquired as to his availability this summer. (MailSport)

Rodgers should be candidate to replace Wenger

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers should be considered to replace Arsene Wenger as manager of Arsenal, according to Charlie Nicholas. The Sky Sports pundit, who starred for both clubs during his career, believes Rodgers can have the team playing “the Arsenal way”. Gilmour ‘should reject Chelsea’

Billy Gilmour should reject Chelsea’s offer in order to stay with Rangers, according to former Stamford Bridge star Ray Wilkins. The former England international believes it would be most beneficial for the 15-year-old’s career if he received regular playing time in the first-team, which he’s got more chance of receiving at Ibrox. St Johnstone suspend duo

Both Danny Swanson and Richard Foster have been suspended by their club St Johnstone after the pair were sent off at half-time of Saturday’s game with Hamilton for fighting each other. The club say they will launch an internal investigation into the incident which saw the Perth side reduced to nine men. Pedro Caixinha insists a combination of illness and injury forced him into making all three half-time substitutions during his team’s 1-1 draw with Motherwell. Dundee midfielder Paul McGowan attacked his side for their “s***e, p*** weak, and Sunday League” performance against Aberdeen on Friday night. The Dees lost 7-0 to Derek McInnes’ men, with Andy Considine grabbing a hat-trick for the visitors.
