Robbie Horn slips out of contention

SPARE a thought for Berwick Rangers defender Robbie Horn, who was sidelined by a corridor slip for the 5-1 drubbing of Elgin City on Saturday. The centre-half was leaving the Shielfield Park dressing-rooms on Thursday night after training when he slipped and fell.

Berwick manager Jimmy Crease admitted the fall had caused a pretty horrific injury to Horn ahead of the Third Division match. He said: "I had named Robbie in the pool for the trip to Borough Briggs and as he was going home he slipped outside the changing room and within minutes it looked like there was a tennis ball coming out of his ankle."
