One fan replied to the Twitter post: “The most Allan McGregor thing I’ve seen”.

McGregor posted the video on social media, accompanied with the caption: “Thanks @lovenkrands11 for the nomination. I nominate everyone as we should all be at home staying safe!”.

The idea of the challenge is to encourage people to not leave the house during the coronavirus pandemic, unless it is essential.

It has seen the likes of team-mates Joe Aribo and Alfredo Morelos take part, plus manager Steven Gerrard, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi and Manchester United’s Bruno Fernandes. As well as tough-tackling midfielder Felipe Melo. The Brazilian two-footed the toilet roll rather than doing keepie-uppies, staying true to his reputation.
