'Unreal man, unreal': Rangers fans react to Slavia Prague draw and Allan McGregor's save

Rangers left Prague with a 1-1 draw despite a lacklustre start against SK Slavia Prague.

After falling behind to Nicolae Stanciu’s curling strike after six minute Rangers were on the ropes before recovering and levelling through Fillip Helander. Steven Gerrard’s side then roared into th second half and were unlucky not to take the lead – though have Allan McGregor’s great late save to thank for keeping them level heading back to Ibrox next week.

Here’s how the fans saw the game, the save and the end of a momentous week.

George Simpson: “Great result away from home! No mugs in this round of the competition and on the back of our celebrations from the weekend. Finely balanced but not done yet as Leicester found out.”

Geoff Lee: “Considering the task ahead of even getting a result, this draw going to Ibrox is massive! You can feel something special is happening at Rangers, what a time to be alive.”

@onlyoneamoruso: “I would have taken that before KO, and it looked like it was gonna be a long night after their goal. We have character and we arguably had the best chances in the second half. Both keepers had to make good saves. Obviously McGregor's was the best, it may have been the best ever.”

Greig Ward: “Great result after a worrying start. Grew into the game as it went on and we’ve a right good chance of going through.”

Allan Lyons: “That's one of the best saves I've ever seen. That's right up there with his save against Werder Bremen. Poor performance from the team but they dug in and got a crucial away goal. Hopefully they will have sobered up by next week and take them at Ibrox.”
