The final five days. Just one more working week until we have kick-off in Scotland with the Scottish Premiership, starting at Pittodrie at 12.30pm on Saturday with Aberdeen welcoming Rangers. Of course, it will be slightly surreal without any fans but the most important thing is football is returning.

The next few days will be full of predictions, opinions and maybe some optimism. On top of the build-up there will be some tense moments in the transfer market, notable Alfredo Morelos possibly leaving Rangers and then there is the Hearts and Partick Thistle arbitration process.

Lille want to make Alfredo Morelos one of two significant signings.

The club are expected to have £60million to play with as Victor Osimhen is set to sign for Napoli.

Morelos is a key target, as it Gent striker Jonathan David. Lille have already had a £23m bid for the latter rejected. 

Rangers could move for ex-Leeds United man

Rangers could return for Kemar Roofe if Alfredo Morelos departs.

According to STV journalist Raman Bhardwaj, the Anderlecht striker is still a target for the Ibrox side.

The club may have to move quick if the Colombian moves to Lille.

Ex-Sunderland ace Josh Maja has also been linked.
