The next step towards next season was taken on Tuesday when Ann Budge submitted proposals for league reconstruction which would see Hearts, Partick Thistle and Stranraer face demotion following the early end to the 2019/20 campaign.

Clubs are set to pour over the lengthy document which outlines a new three tier league system, while Hearts have offered up the use of their ground as a hub for games. There is much to be discussed with some concerns about the Championship, League One and League Two being able to play a full 36-game season.
