LiveScottish Football LIVE: Rangers on 'abhorrent' relegation decision if SPFL implement resolution, Celtic ace tipped for new deal, Hearts role for starlet

All the latest news, transfer speculation and more from around the SPFL

It is now that time of year where you usually going to game when the weather is improving, you can wear your teams colours without hiding them below big jumpers and jackets as we enter the business end of the season, and in Scotland we were meant to be building up to the Scottish Cup semi-final on Easter weekend.

Instead, for many of us, we are locked in doors most of the day, staring out at the sun and with no live football look forward to. That may change by June but as of now there is no timescale as to when we will enjoy the game.

But there is still football news, plenty of nostalgia and, of course, transfer speculation. We will have all the latest throughout the day from around Scottish football.

SPFL clubs to vote - CONFIRMED

Lower leagues to vote to end by Premiership up in the air

The Championship, League 1 and League 2 are set to finish early with the SPFL keen to call an end to their league seasons.

However, according to STV, the Premiership's future won't be decided.

The top-flight clubs will be required to vote on how the season ends but will wait further guidance from Uefa.

Celtic should get Frimpong on a new deal

Jeremie Frimpong has been one of the revelations of the season in Scotland.

The Dutchman was signed by Celtic from Manchester City in the summer and has become a key part of Neil Lennon's side.

Ex-Rangers full-back expects the club to look to tie down the teenager on an improved deal.

He told Football Insider that Frimpong is unlikely to be on a contract which matches his potential: “I wouldn’t think he would be on that sort of deal at the moment. He’s really jumped ahead very quickly. I think Celtic will want to tie him down. I think he’s been a revelation, he’s really come in and been unbelievable.”

Real Madrid will make a €10m move for Ianis Hagi.

According to reports in Spain, the Spanish giants expect Rangers to take up their clause in the loan deal to sign him permanently.

Madrid are looking to target young players in the summer with plenty of potential. While there is also the connection with Hagi's father who played for the club.

Hagi has also been linked with Manchester City and Spurs this week, according to his agent.
