Hearts players to leave on a free?

Hearts players will look to have the option to leave the club on a free if they take a wage cut, according to the Daily Mail

It is reported that some players feel that a wage cut rather than deferral, as has happened elsewhere, is a breach of contract and whether it could allow them to depart for free in the summer.

League reconstruction update

Three leagues of 14 has emerged as the likely favourite if league reconstruction is vote through in Scottish football.

The BBC are reporting that the ten League Two clubs will be opting for a 14-14-14 system.

Due to the voting system in place, such a stance from the bottom sides means that will be the only option which can now go through if reconstruction does take place.

Done deal: Hamilton Accies secure David Templeton

Hamilton Accies chairman Allan Maitland has confirmed the club have secured the services of David Templeton.

Maitland revealed the two-year deal on the Only Accies podcast.

Two "preferred options" for league reconstruction

Premier League pair Leicester City and West Ham United could battle it out for Alfredo Morelos.

According to reports, both are keen on the Rangers striker.

Former Hearts player and current Leicester City club ambassador Ally Mauchlen reckons the Foxes would be a good move for the Colombian.

He told the Scottish Sun: “He has so much in his tool box and Leicester definitely need someone to step up when Jamie [Vardy] is not about. Talking to Gary McAllister, who is still a good friend, he described him as a street-fighter."
