Rangers have won the SPFL Premiership after a remarkable campaign to restore the Scottish league silverware to the Ibrox trophy room.

Steven Gerrard’s side re-wrote the record books at times with some formidable form and went over a year without losing a single league match – and only falling once in the Betfred Cup to St Mirren.

James Tavernier struck an impressive haul of goals from right-back before injury curtailed his campaign but the captain – alongside mainstays Allan McGregor and Connor Goldson – played a huge part in the season’s success with the club’s defensive record.
