The standout tie from the four draws is a possible match-up between Rangers and giants Galatasaray at Ibrox if Steven Gerrard’s men get past Dutch outfit Willem II and the Turkish side see off Croatia's Hadjuk Split.

Gala have the likes of Radamel Falcao, Arda Turan and Ryan Babel but they finished a lowly sixth last season. Hadjuk are one of the biggest teams in Croatia but have not won a league title since 2005.

Celtic, meanwhile, will travel to the Balkans to play either the Bosnian league champions FK Sarajevo or Montenegrin league winners FK Budućnost Podgorica. Standing in their way is Latvian’s Riga.

Aberdeen, if they get past Portuguese giants Sporting, have been handed a home tie with either LASK of Austria or Slovakia’s DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda.

Having edged past Coleraine to set up a tie with Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Motherwell will play FC Viktoria Plzeň or SønderjyskE Fodbold at Fir Park if they can cause an upset against he Israelis.

All matches are scheduled to take place on Thursday, 1 October.
