SPL Fanzone: Rangers

IGNORING the weekend’s major refereeing controversy – Gary Hooper’s blatantly offside equaliser – the Duff & Phelps farce drags on interminably.

As ever, football fans are the last to know what is being done with their club, so can anyone explain why the administrators haven’t announced a preferred bidder to let them try to take Rangers out of administration via a CVA?

With the Blue Knights apparently unseated, Bill Ng’s Singapore consortium looks most likely unless HMRC or Craig Whyte do something incredibly stupid at the 11th hour – like blocking a CVA.

Either scenario would ignite the tinderbox that is the already impatient and organised Rangers support in a way which wouldn’t be pleasant for anyone. Let’s hope this fiasco is concluded in the next week or so.
