SPL Fanzone: Rangers

Rangers signed off with an impressive win in Perth thanks to goals from two players who epitomise what this season has meant. Lee McCulloch has shown commitment above and beyond, both off and on the pitch, and trialist (!) Sone Aluko was arguably our single best player this season. Hopefully Aluko’s hat-trick isn’t his last act in a Rangers jersey and Charles Green’s mystery consortium can secure his signature and others.

Most Rangers fans are just weary of it all – of Duff and Phelps’ uselessness, the petty vindictiveness of SFA and SPL suits, the short-sighted malice of other clubs and now it looks like we’ve swapped Craig Whyte for just another unaccountable rich man, one Sheffield United fans don’t speak of fondly. This sorry saga is by no means over and the club’s future is still in the balance.
