SFA have no issue with Ogilvie - Regan

Stewart Regan says SFA president Campbell Ogilvie disclosed all information regarding his Employee Benefit Trust (EBT) from Rangers before the beneficiaries of the scheme became public knowledge.

He added that EBT’s were not illegal at the time when Ogilvie received his and that the SFA President had exempted himself from any decision making on the Ibrox side.

“At the moment, the president has no case to answer”, said Regan. (Scotsman)

Fraser Forster set to commit to Celtic

The on loan Newcastle keeper will put pen-to-paper on a permanent deal with the Parkhead club today, according to reports.

A fee of £2m has already been agreed with Alan Pardew’s side with personal terms expected to be confirmed in the next 24 hours. (Sun)

Gattuso’s agent to land for signing talks

Rino Gattuso’s agent will visit Scotland later today to begin talks with the Ibrox club over the veteran Italian returning to Ibrox - should Rangers be allowed to sign players.

Rangers were handed a 12 month transfer embargo for failure to pay taxes but appealed the decision in the Court of Session.

The SFA will now reconsider what penalty will be meted out the Ibrox club. (Record)

Broadfoot rejects Hungarian move

Rangers defender Kirk Broadfoot has turned down a chance to join Hungarian side Debrecen. Wigan and West Bromwich Albion are both reported to be interested in the midfielder who is available on a cut price deal after agreeing to a wage cut at Ibrox. (Express)

Green says fans can rename Murray Park

Prospective Rangers owner Charles Green says fans will be able to vote on a new name for Murray Park should his bid for the club be successful.

At a meeting with the Rangers Fighting Fund yesterday, Green said that season ticket holders would get a chance to name the training complex with club founder Moses McNeil and legendary winger Davie Cooper early contenders.

Green’s offer to the club’s creditors is currently under consideration. (Scotsman)
