Rangers unveil new away strip

RANGERS have launched a new away kit, which is predominantly white and comes with blue shorts and white socks.

Midfielder Ian Black helped launch the Umbro kit, which goes on sale today.

At the launch Black told the official Rangers website that he is ready to return following his injury lay-off.

He said: “That’s me back in. I’ve managed to train since Tuesday onwards so I’m available for the game.

“It’s been hard having had the operation and then no rehab and coming here and going straight in to games, I wasn’t anywhere near as fit as I could have been.

“It’s going to take time, but as long as I’m doing what I have to do for the gaffer and I can play I’ll improve and the performances will go back to the level they were last season.

“I think the fans understand that I haven’t had a pre-season. The club has been great with me and looked after me and I’m as fit as I could be now.

“It’s just a case of getting consistency in my performances now and playing the way they saw me playing against Rangers last season.”
