It is believed the fixture being shifted to Sunday 21 January, in order for it to be shown live on Sky Sports.

The decision to broadcast the match could net The Broch more than £30,000 - but the Highland League outfit would have received more than double that if the tie had been played last season.

Changes to the way TV revenue and prize money are distributed mean Fraserburgh miss out on the £80,000 windfall formerly dished out to clubs featured in live matches.

Fraserburgh are set to bring in temporary stands in a bid to maximise attendance.

The club’s record attendance at Bellslea came in the second round of the Scottish Cup in 1954, when 5,800 people turned up for The Broch’s match with Hearts on 13 February.
