Rangers kept their fans waiting to announce Ryan Kent. Literally to the last second of the midnight transfer window closure.

It was a huge deal, both in terms of finance and a boost for a support low after defeat to Celtic. The Englishman became Steven Gerrard's 11th summer signing, adding to the depth at the club. A promising start to the season. Can be rash positionally but a player with a lot of talent.
A big investment for the club and could be the ball-playing centre-back to help the side against teams which sit in.
A position Rangers fans would liked to have seen strengthened but Flanagan has the jersey after praise from Gerrard following the Old Firm clash.
A strong start to the season which has earned a Scotland call-up and praise from Gerrard.
A key figure in midfield. Uses the ball well, has substantial Premier League experience plus that know how when it comes to winning at Ibrox.
Perhaps the player at the club with the biggest potential. Best as a No.8, driving forward and providing a bit of craft.
Not the best of starts to the campaign but knows the role so well behind the striker.
A 7.5m signing to much fanfare. Will play.
The Colombian should oust Jermain Defoe as the starting striker in the league.
