The 24-year-old Northern Ireland striker has been told his contract will not be renewed, and that he is not part of Ally McCoist’s future plans.

Little, who has spent eight years at the Ibrox club, broke into the first team in 2009, but only held down a regular place as Rangers cantered to the Third Division title, with the striker netting over 20 goals during the season.

This season, he has appeared 26 times for Rangers, but suffered a setback with a broken cheekbone ruling him out for eight weeks.

Capped eight times by Northern Ireland, Little - who had a loan spell with Port Vale in 2011 - can be used in most positions, having performed in defence and midfield as well as up front.
