How the Rangers players rated in Europa League exit to Slavia Prague

Steven Gerrard saw his Rangers side defeated for the first time in Europe this term and just the second defeat in all competitions.

Slavia Prague will take a place among the last eight teams in this season’s Europa League after a powerful first half header from Peter Olayinka and then a stunning free-kick from Nicolae Stanciu.

But the story of the second half was a pair of red cards for Rangers players Kemar Roofe and Leon Balogun which took the wind out of the home side’s sails as they rallied and tried to level the tie on aggregate.

However it was the end of the road at the round of 16 for the second consecutive season.

Here is how Rangers players rated.

Player ratings scale - 10: One of the best performances you've seen. 9: Outstanding. 8: Very good. 7: Good. 6: Average. 5: Poor, 4: Very poor. 3: A terrible day at the office. 2: Abysmal. 1: One of the worst performances you've seen.
