Rangers avenged their Betfred Cup exit at the SMISA Stadium by seeing off St Mirren in their final Scottish Premiership fixture of 2020.

First half goals from visiting strike duo Kemar Roofe and Alfredo Morelos, the second after a slack backpass from Saints captain Joe Shaughnessy, gave Steven Gerrard’s side another valuable three points to maintain their 16-point avantage at the top of the league table.
