Two changes to Steven Gerrard’s starting line-up, including Ryan Kent’s demotion to the bench and the inclusion of Alfredo Morelos, had Rangers fans talking.

The league leaders were back in Paisley two weeks after being knocked out of the Betfred Cup to the Buddies and the Rangers manager fielded a strong team in the final league outing of 2020.

On Ryan Kent’s bench role...

@ewanmckay1976: “Agreed his form has dipped but he will start against Celtic. He should get a lot more space in behind on Saturday than he has recently and is a player who usually turns up against them and they will fear.”

Jock Alan Stevenson: “Might have given Tavvy a break and brought in Patterson as he was great last few stints but can't fault who he has picked. Good that Kent got rest as he looked bit drained, come on Gers this is huge three points and chance at second revenge match in row after we avenged the draw at Hibs.”
