'Feel sorry for Hagi', 'It takes more than pace to be a good defender', 'Most important Old Firm since we climbed the divisions' - Fans react to Rangers Balogun-Helander decision and Ryan Kent's inclusion

All, though, are urging Rangers to win ‘the biggest Old Firm since we climbed the divisions’, whether they preferred Leon Balogun to Filip Helander as the manager did, or felt sorry for Ianis Hagi’s substitute role.

Arthur Baird: “Exactly the team that was expected. Feel a bit sorry for Hagi as he played well last couple of games but we trust the boss.”

Nicu Hazota: “I'm sorry about Hagi. He's played well the last few games and he's got his spirits up. Now I think he's got his morale down seeing as he is only the reserve even if played better than many other players.”

Gary Thorn: “Strong team but this won’t be easy!”

Arron Dick: “Strongest XI to get the job done! Win this and job is as good as done.”

William Wales: “Exactly what I forecast, although I would have preferred Helander to Balogun. I’ve heard all the "pace" arguments, but it takes a lot more than pace to make a good defender.”@brucers9: “Slightly surprised at Balogun over Helander but otherwise as expected. Just get it done Rangers.”

@JCraig1872: “OK where is commander Helander?”

@VicVinegar75: “It was only going to be Helander or Balogun. I prefer Big Fil but I can see why he's chosen Balogun. They might be firing the balls over the top in behind our full backs. Will need pace at the back.”

@burkeyGAWA: “Big Balogun has pace so will be needed if the full backs are further up the pitch and they try a ball over the top.”

Stewart Mcinroy: “Let’s hope Morelos plays the way we all know he can and puts them to the sword once and for all. Three points today puts us in a very strong position towards 55.”

Andy Paulin: “Morelos needs to step up today and put in a performance. Keep the heid and discipline and also bagging a goal would be nice. Good team selection tho I feel confident.”

Gordon Jamieson: “Could really really done with Arfield today. Strong looking side. Don’t spoil it by using Barker!”
