Barcelona legend Xavi has weighed into the Jack Wilshere to Rangers debate. The Spanish midfield maestro reckons the ex-Arsenal star would be the best player in Scotland if he moved to Ibrox on a free contract. Xavi said: “Rangers could be a very good fit for him. The pace in Scotland is not as fast as England and it would give him more time on the ball. That is where he excels, his vision and passing is incredible.” (Daily Record)

Clarke hails Dykes

Scotland boss has hailed Lyndon Dykes as "international class". The striker scored the winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Slovakia in the Nations League on Sunday. Clarke said: “Lyndon has done well, I don’t think anyone who has watched him play could say anything otherwise. He was part of a very good team performance.
