Barcelona legend Xavi has weighed into the Jack Wilshere to Rangers debate. The Spanish midfield maestro reckons the ex-Arsenal star would be the best player in Scotland if he moved to Ibrox on a free contract. Xavi said: “Rangers could be a very good fit for him. The pace in Scotland is not as fast as England and it would give him more time on the ball. That is where he excels, his vision and passing is incredible.” (Daily Record)

Scotland boss has hailed Lyndon Dykes as "international class". The striker scored the winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Slovakia in the Nations League on Sunday.
