Rangers 2 - 0 Aberdeen: Rangers move back into second place

Rangers moved back into second place of the Ladbrokes Premiership with a 2-0 victory over Aberdeen at Ibrox.

Following their midweek defeat to Hearts, manager Mark Warburton decided to drop James Tavernier, bringing in Lee Hodson to replace him.

That would prove telling at both ends as the Irish full-back helped his side to a clean sheet while scoring Rangers’ second goal of the match.

That came after a second half strike from Kenny Miller to open the scoring and send Rangers on their way.
