Rampant Mechanics move nine points clear

HIGHLAND: Ryan Green insists Forres Mechanics are not celebrating yet despite taking another huge stride towards their first Highland League title since 1986.

With Cove Rangers failing to beat Clach, Forres overcame Brora Rangers 4-1 and moved nine points clear at the summit.

Veteran Green claimed the final goal on Saturday and said: “Being involved with Forres for nine years, a championship would be fantastic, but there is still work to do.”
