Preston put squeeze on Lothian HV

Preston ATHLETIC climbed above Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale in the Central Taxis Premier Division relegation zone after beating them 4-2 at the Pennypit last night.

The Prestonpans club had to come from behind after they trailed to a Roberto Arena penalty scored in the eighth minute. However, Robbie Arthur, with a piece of exquisite skill, equalised with a low driven shot from the edge of the penalty box and he then helped former Hearts youngster Dale O’Hara make it 2-1.

Matt Costello equalised for Lothian early in the second half, but Callum Connolly was sent off for a foul in the penalty box and O’Hara dispatched the spot kick. Ryan Strachan then found Sean Martinto seal the victory.
