Penicuik ride their luck for three points

A 57TH-MINUTE strike by James McPartlin won Penicuik three well-earned Premier League points.

Star could have been two goals up within the first ten minutes but for poor finishing. Penicuik took the lead with an own goal in the 15th minute when a clearance rebounded off John McManus and flew past his own keeper. Shortly afterwards Penicuik had a strong claim for a penalty turned down.

Newtongrange equalised in the 47th minute when Lewis Turner broke free from his marker and gave the keeper Bald no chance with his strike.
