Not your average cliche from James Grady

IF THERE was an award handed out for 'Most Ridiculous Use Of A Cliche' then Morton manager James Grady would be in the running following his guest appearance on Radio Scotland's Off The Ball show on Saturday.

The cliche in question was the 'no disrespect to...' one that is used when the speaker is just about to disrespect someone. It was a surprise, then, that Grady's target was . . . himself!

Presenters Tam Cowan and Stuart Cosgrove complimented Grady on the fact he was a pest to defenders during his playing days. And Grady responded: "No disrespect to myself, but I was an average player so I worked hard."
