Neil Lennon targets trio

THE Daily Record's back page carried a story claiming that Celtic's manager-in-waiting Neil Lennon is planning a three-pronged blitz on the English transfer market.

It is claimed that Hull City's Jimmy Bullard, Cardiff's Joe Ledley and Stoke's Liam Lawrence are on Lennon's wanted list in the likely event that he is confirmed as the permanent manager of the Parkhead club this week.

The same paper also had a word with Rangers target Lee Miller, who admitted that if the Ibrox club did come in for him this summer, he would face the biggest dilemma of his life.

In the Daily Mirror, the head of Russia's bid to host the 2018 World Cup had a pop at the England supporters. Responding to a claim from Lord Coe that the English fans are the best in the world, Alexei Sorokin said: "Maybe he meant that English supporters are the utmost hooligans."
