Manchester derby on ITV1

THE FA Cup third-round Manchester derby will be shown live on ITV1 on Sunday, 8 January. The Premier League’s top two will meet at the Etihad Stadium at 1pm.

Later that day, Sir Alex Ferguson’s son Darren will be in charge of Peterborough as they host Martin O’Neill’s Sunderland in a game which will kick off at 3.30pm on ITV1.

The tie between Arsenal and Leeds at the Emirates Stadium will be screened live on ESPN on Monday, 9 January, at 7.45pm. ESPN will also show two games live on Saturday, 7 January – the Midlands derby between Birmingham and Wolves (12.30pm) and Bristol Rovers v Aston Villa (5.30pm).
