Lokomotiv to land Bilic after Euros

Croatia coach Slaven Bilic says he’ll join Lokomotiv Moscow after the European Championship.

He has agreed to sign a three-year contract with the Russian First Division club. No financial details of the contract were given.

Bilic announced last week that he would step down as Croatia coach after the Euros in Poland and Ukraine this summer.

Bilic, says he’s “happy and proud” that he is joining “a big club, a big city and a big league.”

The 43-year-old has been Croatia coach since 2006 and guided the team to the quarter-finals at Euro 2008.
