Livingston 2-3 Dundee

DUNDEE came from behind to keep their faint title hopes alive with a dramatic late victory at Livingston.

Jamie McCluskey collected a brace with seconds left to keep Barry Smith’s side on the coat-tails of leaders Ross County.

Dundee administered the first blow after 26 minutes when McCluskey angled a left-footed shot into the corner of the net from inside the area after being set-up by a delicate flick from Carl Finnigan. The Lions levelled, though, six minutes before the break when Marc McNulty latched onto Keaghan Jacob’s piercing pass, fended off Dundee’s Rhys Weston and calmly slotted past Rab Douglas to collect his 14th goal of the season.

The home side were then gifted a second goal 60 seconds after the restart as Dundee defender Neil McGregor sliced Bobby Barr’s low cross into his own net.

In a high-octane second half, Dundee equalised – with a hint of offside – in the 56th minute courtesy of Finnigan when the ball kindly rolled through to him after Weston’s tackle on Stefan Scougall.

The drama wasn’t over and McCluskey gave Dundee all the spoils with a minute left when he forced in Stephen O’Donnell’s corner.
