Lionel Messi at the double again at Granada

Lionel Messi scored his 300th and 301st goals for Barcelona and extended his record-scoring run to 14 league games in a 2-1 win at Granada last night.

Messi pounced on a rebound from Cesc Fabregas’ shot five minutes after half-time to cancel out Odion Ighalo’s 26th-minute opener.

The Argentina star then ensured Barca’s victory in the 73rd with a brilliantly struck free-kick. The game was the 17th this season in which he’s scored more than one goal and his tally is now 37 goals in 24 games, making him La Liga’s top scorer.
