It’s the morning after the Old Firm game before and while Celtic are dissecting their defeat, Rangers are sitting pretty at the top of the table.

Parkhead boss Neil Lennon has been criticised but also turned his ire on an inside source who he believes is ‘doing his team in’ after the proposed starting XI was leaked online the night before yesterday’s top-of-the-table clash.

Away from the Glasgow derby meeting there was yet more coronavirus controversy with a very late call-off putting paid to Motherwell’s trip to St Mirren. The Paisley side were unable to field a team and the match was cancelled a matter of hours before the 3pm kick-off. The game’s authorities are now looking into the factors that led to the postponement.
