Kenny Dalglish appeals for help in search for Billy McNeill’s missing grandson
Sir Kenny Dalglish has appealed for help in the search for Billy McNeill’s grandson who hasn’t been seen since leaving his Amsterdam hotel on the 14th March.
Posting on Twitter, Sir Kenny, who stated that The McNeill family were close friends, retweeted a post from his daughter Kelly Cates who was sharing a Dutch article asking for information on the whereabouts of 21-year-old Matthew McCombe.
Mr McCombe was reported to be in the Dutch capital celebrating his 21st birthday when police say he was seen leaving his hotel at 6.15am, before being last spotted at Amsteldijk near the Berlage bridge at 6.44am.
He was reported by police to be wearing a light grey or white Northern Rock jumper.
Amsterdam police are urging anyone who saw him to contact them.
