Jak Alnwick leaves Rangers on loan for Stuart McCall's Scunthorpe

Rangers goalkeeper Jak Alnwick has left the club and joined Scunthorpe United on loan until January, subject to international clearance.

The 25-year-old links up with former Rangers manager Stuart McCall, who was appointed the Irons’ manager on Monday, with the club sitting 18th in League 1.

With the signing of Allan McGregor in May, Alnwick dropped to the club’s No.3 with Wes Foderingham playing in the Betfred Cup win over Kilmarnock earlier this month.

Signed in January 2017, Alnwick made 11 appearances for Rangers, conceding 17 goals and keeping three clean sheets.
