Georgi Nemsadze, former Dundee midfielder, named new manager of Dinamo Tbilisi
The 48-year-old had three spells as a player for his hometown club, playing for the Dark Blues in between his second and final spells.
Nemsadze made more than 70 appearances for Dundee between 2000 and 2003 and was inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame in 2010.

Hide AdHe entered management in 2017, taking charge of Georgia's Under-17 national side before his first club appointment in 2018 as manager of second division side Shevardeni Tbilisi; another club Nemsadze represented during his playing career.
In 2019 he took the reins at Dila Gori, leading them to third in the truncated 2020 Erovnuli Liga season – one of their best finishes in the last 30 years.
Nemsadze succeeds Kakhaber Chkhetiani as Dinamo boss and will lead the Georgian capital side into the Champions League first qualifying round while Dila will enter the first qualifying round of the new Europa Conference League.
