DUNDEE youngster Scott Fowlie insists Keith remain in the title mix despite sitting 11th in the table and 19 points off top spot.

The on-loan 18-year-old believes his team can capitalise on their five games in hand as others show signs of cracking.

Forres Mechanics crashed 3-2 away to Wick Academy, while Keith held Cove 2-2 at Allan Park. Fowlie said: “I wouldn’t write us off. With Forres losing we feel we’re still in the mix for the League title.”

At Wick, goals from David Allan and a double from Sam Mackay gave the home side their win against Forres.

Third-place Buckie drew 2-2 against lowly Strathspey, while a Graham Johnston hat-trick saw Fraserburgh thump Turriff United 5-1. Formartine won 3-0 against Huntly and Nicky Gordon hit the only goal for Inverurie at Deveronvale. Elsewhere, Lossiemouth won 2-0 at Brora.
