SPL Fanzone: Hibernian

THE well-deserved point we picked up against Motherwell on Sunday may well prove priceless. With so few league games left, the seven point gap between us and Jim Jefferies’ Dunfermline side is significant.

No Hibs fan will be relaxing until we are mathematically safe, but at least it is all in our own hands now.

Saturday sees us return to Hampden for the first time since 2007. The pundits may have written both ourselves and Aberdeen off as potential cup winners but the match should be a cracker. Both teams will be striving to repay their fans after indifferent league campaigns. Despite our dismal cup record, Hibs fans do still allow ourselves to dream. What price an Edinburgh double in the semi-finals? Finishing the season with an Edinburgh derby in the final could instantly transform a largely forgettable season in to one of the most memorable.
