SPL Fanzone: Hibernian

It WAS no surprise that our league campaign ended with a whimper rather than a bang up in Inverness. However few Hibs fans will be looking back at that defeat, all eyes are now on Saturday’s Cup final.

The Salt‘n’Sauce final is a great chance for the Edinburgh sides to show that our derby match can not only equal but surpass the Glasgow version. Given our recent derby record and the respective league form of both teams it would be fair to say that we are the underdogs going into this match. We may not be taking anything for granted then but we can still dare to dream. Meanwhile, for Hearts fans, their obsession with the “wee” team’s cup record could be about to provide them with their biggest nightmare. Whatever the outcome, it is guaranteed to be an emotional afternoon.
